LiftMaster Commercial Opener Installation
We install LiftMaster commercial openers, sized to the door and set up for how the door is used. Jackshaft openers mount on the wall beside the door, which frees up ceiling space.
How we size an opener
- Door size, weight and type
- Track type: standard, high-lift or vertical-lift
- How many times a day the door runs
- Available power at the door
- Whether you need remotes, keypads or timer-to-close
What installation includes
- Mounting the opener and connecting it to the door
- Wall control and safety devices
- Setting limits and force
- Checking the door's balance first, since an opener should not lift a door that is out of balance
- Showing your staff how to use the manual release
Jackshaft or trolley?
Jackshaft openers mount beside the door and turn the torsion shaft. They work well with high-lift and vertical-lift track and keep the ceiling clear. Trolley openers mount above the door and pull it open. We will recommend the right type for your building.
Replacing an old opener
If an old opener keeps failing or parts are no longer made, we remove it and install a new LiftMaster commercial opener in its place.

Can you install an opener on a door you did not install?
Yes. We check the door first and fix any balance or hardware problems before the opener goes on.
Do commercial openers need safety devices?
Yes. Commercial openers use photo eyes or other safety devices so the door reverses if something is in the way.
