Truck & Trailer Door Spring Replacement

Springs make a box truck or trailer door light enough to lift by hand. When they break or weaken, the door gets heavy, will not stay up or comes down hard. We replace springs and balance the door.

Spring Replacement questions

Can drivers keep using a door with a broken spring?

It is not safe. A heavy door can injure drivers and damage the door. Get it repaired.

Do you replace both springs?

When a door has two springs, we usually replace both so they wear evenly.

Which doors do you work on?

Todco, Whiting and most other box truck and trailer doors.
