Self-storage roll-up doors
Storage Unit Roll-Up Door Off Track
When a roll-up curtain comes out of its guides, the door jams, will not close or will not lock. It is often caused by a bent guide or a door that was forced. We put the curtain back and fix what caused it.

Common causes
- The door was forced up or down at an angle
- Bent or loose guides
- A damaged bottom bar
- Wind or something hit the door
- Spring tension is off
What we do
- Put the curtain back in the guides
- Straighten or replace bent guides
- Repair the bottom bar and stops
- Check spring tension and the latch

Off Track questions
Should a tenant try to force the door back?
No. Forcing it can bend the curtain or guides. Call or text us.
Will the curtain need to be replaced?
Not usually. Many off-track doors only need to be reset and the guide straightened.
Can you secure a unit that will not close?
We will do what we can to get it closed and locked.
